First Roth Club
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
The short version
- The free idea finder processes your answers in your browser. Those answers are not sent to our servers or saved in a First Roth Club account. Files you download or print stay on your own device or in your own records.
- If you join the Club, we keep only what we need to provide your guided path and Club emails. Your records (jobs, pay, invoices, deposits) stay in your own spreadsheet or folder; we never see or keep them.
- First Roth Club is for parents and guardians, not children. Parents enter any information about their own children.
- We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t show ads.
- You can ask us to delete your Club information at any time. Limited records may be kept where the law requires or permits.
1. Who This Is For
First Roth Club is designed for parents and legal guardians, not children. Only adults may create or manage Club accounts, make payments, or submit account, setup, child-profile, and progress information. Parents enter information about their own children. We do not invite children to create accounts, complete forms, or submit information.
Children should not use Club account or data-entry features. If we learn that a child has submitted personal information or used an account contrary to this policy, we will investigate and take appropriate steps, including deleting information where required. Contact hello@firstrothclub.com (hello@firstrothclub.com).
2. What We Collect
- Free tools and guides: the idea finder processes your answers in your browser; they are not sent to our servers or saved in an account. Our hosting providers separately process technical information about website visits (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.
- Join the Club: we collect your email address; each child’s first name or nickname, age, state, and monthly savings target; your setup answers about who the child works for, how they are paid, and time available; selected ideas; completed steps; and months marked done or skipped. We use this information to operate your account, provide the guided path, tailor Club emails, and manage your subscription.
- Your own records: we do not receive or store earnings, deposits, work logs, invoices, or agreements entered in your spreadsheet or paper records. Printables we fill in for you are built in your browser for you to download or print; their contents are not sent to us [confirm in the build].
- Payments: Stripe processes payment and billing information directly. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive the subscription and transaction information needed to manage your plan, receipts, cancellations, and refunds, including [list the Stripe fields actually received].
- If you contact us: we receive your email address and the contents of your message. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or investment-account details, or detailed financial records.
- Subscription consent records: when you subscribe, we keep a record of the renewal terms you agreed to and when.
We never ask for your child’s full legal name, school, home address, or Social Security number; any bank account or routing numbers; or logins or passwords for your Roth IRA provider or bank.
3. Who Helps Us Run the Service
We share information only with the service providers we need to operate the Club:
- Hosting: Vercel and Cloudflare
- Email delivery: Resend
- Payments: Stripe
Email open and click tracking is turned off. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. We do not track visitors across third-party websites for advertising and do not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. We do not authorize advertising networks to collect information through our site. Our operational providers may process technical information to deliver and secure the service. We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order.
4. How Long We Keep It
We retain Club profile, setup, and progress information while your paid access remains active. We delete that information within 30 days after access ends. We separately retain the minimum billing, subscription-consent, cancellation, and other records needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes, for the applicable retention period (for subscription-consent records, at least three years, or one year after your subscription ends, whichever is longer). Technical logs and backup copies follow these periods: [verified log and backup retention periods]. Your records are already in your own files, so there is nothing you need to download from us.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- You can stop optional educational emails (such as seasonal tips) through the preference link in those emails or on your account page. Essential sign-in, billing, cancellation, security, and legally required notices may continue while your account or subscription requires them. Unsubscribing from emails does not cancel your subscription.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. If you cannot access your account, email hello@firstrothclub.com (hello@firstrothclub.com) and we will cancel for you.
- All users may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of their account and parent-entered child information by emailing hello@firstrothclub.com (hello@firstrothclub.com). We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and provide appeal instructions where required.
- Additional rights may apply under your state’s privacy law where that law covers our business. Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable law.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including [verified safeguards, for example encryption in transit and at rest, and limited access]. No system is completely secure; this is one reason we collect as little information as possible.
7. Changes and Contact
We will give advance notice of material changes to this policy, identify their effective date, and obtain renewed consent where required. Questions: hello@firstrothclub.com (hello@firstrothclub.com).
