First Roth Club
Terms of service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
The short version
- First Roth Club is an education tool for U.S. parents and guardians. It is not tax, legal, or investment advice.
- You decide which jobs your kid does, keep the records, and make every deposit yourself.
- The Club is $12 a month or $120 a year. It renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time, online.
- We keep the guides current, but rules change. Check the official sources we link before you act.
Who We Are
In these Terms, “First Roth Club,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the business operating under the name First Roth Club. Contact: hello@firstrothclub.com (hello@firstrothclub.com).
1. Who Can Use First Roth Club
You must be at least 18 and a parent or legal guardian living in the United States. The service is for U.S. families and U.S. rules only. First Roth Club is designed for parents and legal guardians, not children. Only adults may create or manage Club accounts, make payments, or submit account, setup, child-profile, and progress information. Parents enter information about their own children. Kids may look at printables with you.
2. What We Provide
Free: the idea finder, guides, printables, spreadsheet kit, and shoot planner. The Club (paid): the guided path, printables filled in for you to download, monthly close-out and deposit reminder emails, a January tax pack, and seasonal tips. Your records stay in your own files; we don’t store them.
Everything is general education. The guided path organizes educational material using the answers you select; it does not verify your employment arrangement or determine whether a job, wage, payment, tax treatment, or IRA contribution is lawful or appropriate. We do not recommend securities or select IRA investments. We are not your tax preparer, lawyer, financial adviser, or Roth IRA provider, and using the service does not create any of those relationships. Federal and state requirements may differ. Check current official sources and obtain qualified advice where needed before acting.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Confirm that the work, employer, hours, duties, and pay comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including permits, school-hour restrictions, hazardous-work rules, and any special rules for family employment.
- Our downloadable spreadsheet and browser-based calculations perform arithmetic using your entries. They do not verify those entries, determine tax treatment, or confirm IRA eligibility.
- Open the Roth IRA, make deposits, and file any tax returns yourself.
- Keep your own records. Your Roth provider’s statements are the official ones.
4. The Club Subscription
The Club costs $12 a month or $120 a year for up to 4 kids in one family, plus any applicable tax. It automatically renews at the end of each paid term for another term of the same length, until you cancel or it ends on its own. It ends on its own when the youngest child on your plan reaches the account handover age you set (18 or 21, depending on your state): we will not renew it after that date, and we will email you before it ends. If a yearly renewal would run past that date, we charge only for the months until then. Before you pay, we clearly show the renewal terms, the amount and frequency of the charge, and how to cancel, and we ask you to agree to them with a separate checkbox. We then email you a confirmation you can keep that restates them.
For annual plans, we ordinarily send a renewal reminder 35 days before renewal, or at another time required by applicable law. It states the renewal date, next charge, renewal term, and cancellation methods, with a direct cancellation link. We also send periodic reminders for monthly plans as required by applicable law.
Before a price increase, we will notify you of the new price, effective renewal date, and cancellation methods within the period required by applicable law, including at least seven calendar days and five business days, and no more than 30 calendar days, before the increase takes effect. We will obtain your affirmative consent to the increased price before charging it. Without that consent, we will not renew at the increased price.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
5. Canceling and Refunds
You may cancel future renewals online through your account’s cancellation control. Reasonable authentication may be required. We do not require a call, survey, or retention offer. If you cannot access or authenticate your account, email hello@firstrothclub.com (hello@firstrothclub.com) for an alternative cancellation method. We will confirm cancellation and your paid-through date. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues through your paid-through date. See the Cancel and Refund Policy for refunds.
6. Keeping Information Current
It is our practice to review our guides, figures, and printables each November, after checking the latest official IRS announcements, and again whenever we become aware that a relevant rule has changed. This describes our general practice, not a guarantee that every figure is reviewed on a fixed date; rules can change between reviews. Growth illustrations are hypothetical, not forecasts or guarantees. Last reviewed: October 2026. If you find information that appears out of date, please tell us at hello@firstrothclub.com (hello@firstrothclub.com).
7. Printables and Content
You may print and use our printables and spreadsheet kit for your own family’s personal use. Please do not resell them, redistribute them commercially, or present them as your own. First Roth Club is our brand. Our original website content, logo, and Sprout mascot are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms grant only the personal-use permissions described above.
8. Email Links and Your Account
We sign you in with an emailed link instead of a password. You are responsible for securing your email account and devices. We are not responsible for unauthorized access to your email account to the extent it is not caused by our acts or omissions. Nothing here excludes liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
9. No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suited to your particular situation. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limits on Our Liability
Please read this section carefully. It limits our liability to you.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. We do not assume responsibility for tax, employment, contribution, or investment decisions made by you or third parties.
Subject to the exceptions below, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will have no liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service, including claims based on ordinary negligence. This does not affect any refund described in our Cancel and Refund Policy.
Neither this limitation nor any damages exclusion applies to our fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any statutory right, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. They also do not limit liability for death or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited.
11. Ending or Changing the Service
We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. If we ever shut down the service permanently, we will give Club members at least 30 days’ notice and a prorated refund of unused prepaid time. We will give advance notice of material changes to these Terms, identify their effective date, and obtain renewed acceptance where required. Changes will not apply retroactively to existing claims or disputes. Subscription price and renewal changes follow the notice and consent requirements in Section 4.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, where First Roth Club is operated, except that consumers retain all protections and remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
You may contact hello@firstrothclub.com (hello@firstrothclub.com) to seek an informal resolution, but doing so is optional and is not a condition to filing a claim. It does not shorten any claim deadline. These Terms do not require arbitration. You may bring a claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction, including an eligible court where you reside. Other claims may be brought in a court with jurisdiction and proper venue. Nothing in these Terms creates federal court jurisdiction or prevents a consumer from using a forum or remedy protected by applicable law.
